A one-day training workshop for journalists was organized in collaboration with the Center for Research and Dialogue, Digital Journalism, Digital Media Alliance of Pakistan, Gilgit-Baltistan Digital Alliance, Tech Minds, and Deosai Times. The event took place at the Tech Minds Digital Media Training Center, Second Floor, Style 36, Jamia Mosque Road, Ali Chowk, Skardu. Senior journalist and analyst of Pakistan Television, Sabookh Syed, and senior journalist Nisar Abbas participated as trainers in this workshop. They provided participants with insights into digital reporting, data journalism, combating misinformation, online verification of information, and investigative reporting. A large number of senior journalists, fresh graduates, and students from across Gilgit-Baltistan attended the workshop. The students expressed that such conferences help journalists and students better understand investigative reporting and data journalism. They appreciated the organization of these programs and training workshops, calling them a great initiative for both journalists and students. Sabookh Syed further mentioned that the organization of such programs, particularly in Skardu, provides a great platform for journalists, helping them gain knowledge in investigative reporting. He also expressed gratitude to the Gilgit-Baltistan Digital Media Alliance, Tech Minds, and Deosai Times for their support and praised their initiative to conduct more such programs in the future.

Later, senior journalist Nisar Abbas thanked trainer Sabookh Syed and all the organizers, especially the resourceful Tech Minds and Gilgit-Baltistan Digital Media Alliance. He emphasized that this workshop provided a great opportunity for journalists and students to learn about investigative reporting and online verification tools.
