About Dr. Shahida Batool
Dr. Shahida Batool is a dedicated Consultant Psychiatrist at RHQ Hospital in Skardu, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan since 2018. She specializes in diagnosing and treating psychiatric conditions, ensuring comprehensive care and promoting emotional well-being and resilience for individuals in need.
She has served as a mental health technical expert for UNICEFs Multiple Indicator Cluster Surveys (MICS) in June 2024 and was a Master Trainer in mhGAP training for doctors in Baltistan. Dr. Batool also completed virtual training on perinatal mental health in November 2023 and has undergone two WHO mhGAP training courses.
