A one-day workshop on the topic of civic education for madrassa and university students was organized at the University of Baltistan in collaboration with GRD and FES. During the workshop, the Resident Director, Program Advisor of FES, and senior journalist Sabookh Syed informed the participants about their organization and ongoing activities. Dr. Ilmdar, Director of the Academic Program, was the driving force behind the event, and Professor Ishtiaq Hussain delivered a lecture on the relationship between society and the individual in mountainous regions. Senior journalist Nisar Abbas presented his comprehensive thoughts on the topic 'Principles of Living in a Religious, Linguistic, Social, and Politically Diverse Society.' In the concluding session, Sabookh Syed gave an informative lecture on the challenges of fake news and misinformation, and also discussed topics related to citizenship, the constitution, and society.
